The Fonoprint recording and mastering studios are in downtown Bologna, inside the walls of an ancient monastery.
The splendid 13th century building, which has a preservation order on it, was specially refurbished to house the studio without altering its original structure.
The fact that it’s right in the town centre means that it’s only a short walk through the lovely streets of central Bologna to the restaurants and hotels we have special agreements with.
The studios have private car parks, and are very close to the railway station and Bologna international airport.
At N° 6 in Via Bocca di Lupo are Studios A (designed by the Acoustic Design Group) and B, whereas at N° 4a are the two Mastering studios (designed by the same Group).
The recording and mastering studios designed by ADG bring together solutions that are both architecturally advanced and planned to give an acoustic that brings out all the natural timbre of sound. The technology we use for both recording and mastering means that Fonoprint is leaps and bounds ahead of the recording and mastering world.
You can also spend time relaxing in a specially-designed area, with everything you require (with television, VHS, DVD, hi-fi, and billiards). Upon request, we can also provide an in-house food service.
